"Why We Fight" was a documentary created talking about why we fight (go figure). This documentary was kind of a response to all the media september eleventh and the War in Iraq received. This documentary was created to try to solve the question that has remained pretty mell hidden why do we fight? Is it the need to compete against everyone to be the next superpower, or is it all to benefit the big corporations that sell their equipment to the military. Prior to viewing this documentary I would have said it was for freedom . After hearing all the interviews and seeing all the speeches by Eisenhower, and others. I tend to lean more their way when they say the war truly does benefit politicians and big corporations. It's really sad they use this truly terrible way of manipulating and motivating people for their benefit so they can get money in their pocket.
